Barcelona skipper Lionel Messi wants former AC Milan defender Thiago Silva at Camp Nou, according to report in Mundo Deportivo.
Silva is out of contract with the Paris Saint-Germain and if the Camp Nou outfit goes after him in the summer he would consider a move to the Spanish outfit.
Messi is in support of such a move for the 35-year-old ace as he is a huge fan of the Brazil international and the Argentine maestro is of the view that the Brazilian will bring a fresh sense of professionalism to the Barcelona dressing roman he is a welcome player at the club.
The former AC Milan defender has been sensational since his move to Paris Saint-Germain and despite his old age he still has what it takes to compete at the highest level of football for the next two to three seasons and Barcelona will aim to connect to that as they aim to bring the veteran defender to Camp Nou at the end of the current season.
