Members from the same family cannot receive money from the Conditional Cash Transfer scheme currently ongoing in many states, the Federal Government clarified on Tuesday.
Buhari’s bodyguard dies
Warrant Officer Lawal Mato, one of the bodyguards of the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari’s (retd.), died on Tuesday after struggling with diabetes for three years.
Buhari, in a statement by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, said Mato had been working with him for many years before he won the 2015 election.
Coronavirus: FG blocks five governors from flying out of Nigeria
Nigeria’s Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, has revealed that he has denied five governors flight approval, since the closure of the airports and the lockdown order by President Muhammadu Buhari to curb the COVID-19 outbreak.
According to Sirika, three out of the four governors are members of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
